Why dont you call Doctor’s park Harmel’s? or 401, Gothic; 403, Elkton; ect. why dont you call canyon creek, snowblind because you park at the campground…

Canyon Creek deserves to be called by name due to the epic-ness of the ride, don’t short change it by naming it after the Podunk town of whitepine.

Well, I suppose you could get technical and call it Tomichi Pass Rd to Canyon Creek. Maybe that’s what you folks at Telluride Roofing call it. Or you could call it 888 to Canyon Creek, because that’s really what it is. But, technically, we also pass through Whitepine, which is what the loop has become named. I mean, you could go so far as to ask, “Why do people say they rode ‘Doctor’s’ when they really probably rode up Spring Creek as well?” But, I guess “Whitepine” annoys you just as much as it annoys me when people say they have a “temperature”. Of course you have a temperature! Everyone does!
