It’s on my list for sure, Matt. We’re already starting to see the costs go down and the choices go up as other players get in the game such as BCS and Mystery Ranch. Things will keep getting better as more manufacturers start making airbag packs. I would have to think that some of the bigger companies like BD, Dakine, and Osprey are working on them. Looking forward to seeing what they’ve got.

I’ve semi-seriously looked at some airbag packs. I feel like that would be a lot better for me than an avalung system. But, costs are still really high, they weigh a lot and there isn’t a lot of room for your gear, and technology is still being discovered/developed. I’ll wait a couple of years & see what comes out.
