Don’t see why you wouldn’t want the DD. I also drilled in an NRS strap on the front, near where your feet go- I always use that for one pair of skis. Too much weight on the tunnel for normal, solo riding. Still the best setup that I know of.

I’ve got an 162″ M1000 and I’m gonna pull the trigger on a CFR rack. Did you go with the D or Double D perhaps? Thanks for all the great posts over the years!
