In partnership with avalanche.org, Gaia GPS now offers a color-coded overlay, displaying regional avalanche danger ratings. A new tool on gaiagps.com now supports selecting custom areas on the map. Useful for land managers, search and rescue groups, and private property owners, the polygon tool measures the perimeter and acreage or km2 for any piece of land.
